How do you determine your pricing?

Your price depends on the size and layout of your home, its current condition, how often you'd like us to visit, and what you'd like us to focus on. We get to know your home first so your quote is fair, accurate and truly yours.

Why do you do a free in-home visit?

Seeing your home in person lets us understand your space, hear what matters most to you, and give honest pricing with no surprises. It's also a chance for us to meet so you feel comfortable welcoming us in. No pressure, no obligation.

What's included in a clean?

A typical clean covers kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas — dusting, floors, surfaces and sanitizing — plus finishing touches like arranging cushions, straightening towels and tidying beds. Laundry and dishes are not included.

Do you offer recurring cleaning?

Yes — weekly, bi-weekly or monthly visits, plus one-time deep cleans and move in/out cleaning. If more than one visit in a row is skipped, a small additional fee may apply to bring your home back to its maintenance level.

How and when do I pay?

Payment is due on the day of service, at least an hour before your appointment. You can leave cash in a clearly marked envelope on the kitchen counter, e-transfer to Office@wisphomecleaning.ca, or pay by credit card through the link on your invoice.

What time will you arrive?

Please allow a 2-hour arrival window, as weather and traffic can shift timing (we often arrive earlier than expected). We'll keep you posted and you can reach us anytime for an update.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

Not at all. Many clients give us access while they're out. Our technicians are courteous and respectful, and we treat your home with care whether you're there or not.

We love meeting pets! But we're focused on cleaning and can't be responsible for them, so if your pet might get anxious, over-excited, protective or try to slip outside, please place them in a crate or safe room before we arrive.

Is Wisp licensed and insured?

Yes. Wisp is a professional home cleaning service, locally owned and operated since 2019 — registered and fully insured, bondable, with police record checks available when required. Deep clean vs. regular clean — which do you need?

It's one of the most common questions we hear. Here's a plain-language look at the difference, so you can choose what's right for your home (and your budget).

What's a regular (maintenance) clean?

A regular clean keeps an already-tidy home fresh and comfortable. It's the everyday upkeep most people picture — done on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly rhythm.

Dusting surfaces, sills and reachable fixtures
Vacuuming and mopping floors
Wiping kitchen counters and exterior of appliances
Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms (toilet, sink, shower, mirror)
Tidying and general freshening throughout

What's a deep clean?

A deep clean is a top-to-bottom reset that reaches the areas a regular clean doesn't get to every visit. It takes more time and care — usually about 1.5 to 2 times a standard clean — but the result is a home that feels brand new.

Everything in a regular clean, plus:
Inside the oven, fridge and cabinets
Detailed scrubbing of tile, grout and soap scum
Baseboards, door frames, vents and light fixtures
Behind and beneath movable furniture and appliances
Fine detail work throughout, corner to corner

How to know which one you need

If your home is generally kept up and you just want to stay on top of it, a regular clean is perfect. If it's been a while, you're moving in or out, prepping for guests or a special occasion, or you simply want a fresh start — a deep clean is the way to go.
